We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, we collect information directly from you when you fill out a form, submit a claim, post content through our Services, communicate with us via third-party platforms, participate in a contest or promotion, request customer support, or otherwise communicate with us. The information that we collect may include:
  • Identifiers: we may collect your name, email address, postal address, and phone number.
  • Claim Information: we may collect information you include on a claim form, including the relevant product information and the details of the incident giving rise to your claim such as the date and description of the incident.

We may also collect any other information you choose to provide.

Information We Collect Automatically

We automatically collect certain information about your interactions with us or our Services, including:
  • Internet Activity Information: We collect information about how you access our Services, including data about the device and network you use, such as your hardware model, operating system version, mobile network, IP address, unique device identifiers, and browser type. We also collect information about your activity on our Services, such as search/browsing history, access times, pages viewed, links clicked, and the page you visited before navigating to our Services.
  • Information Collected by Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies: We use tracking technologies, such as cookies and pixels, to collect information about your interactions with the Services. These technologies help us improve our Services and your experience, see which areas and features of our Services are popular, and count visits. For more information about the cookies and other tracking technologies we use, and the choices available to you, see the Your Privacy Rights and Choices section below.

Demographic Information We Collect from Other Sources

We obtain information from other sources. For example, our advertising partners and data analytics providers may provide us with demographic information like your age or gender.

Derived Information

We may derive information or draw inferences about you based on the information we collect. For example, we may make inferences about your approximate location based on your IP address or infer that you are looking to purchase certain products based on your browsing behavior.

USE OF INFORMATION

We use the categories of information we collect for the following business and commercial purposes:

  • Service Delivery: to provide and maintain our Services;

  • Personalization: to recommend products and present personalized content to you;

  • Communication: send you technical notices, security alerts, support messages and other transactional or relationship messages and provide customer support;

  • Marketing and Advertising: to send direct marketing messages, target advertisements to you on third-party platforms and websites as described below, and facilitate contests, sweepstakes, and promotions;

  • Conducting Analytics: to monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our Services, optimize the features we offer, and generate de-identified data that we will not attempt to re-identify; and

  • Protection and Compliance: to detect, investigate, and help prevent security incidents and other malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, help protect the rights and property of Litehouse and others, and comply with our legal and financial obligations.

TARGETED ADVERTISING AND ANALYTICS

We engage others to provide analytics services, serve advertisements, and perform related services across the web and in mobile applications. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, SDKs, device identifiers, and other technologies to collect information about your use of our Services and other websites and mobile apps, including your IP address, web browser and mobile network information, pages viewed, time spent on pages, links clicked, and conversion information. This information is used to deliver advertising targeted to your interests on other companies’ sites or mobile apps and to analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, and better understand your activity. In addition, some of our advertising partners also enable us to translate your email address or phone number into an identifier that can’t be used to identify you personally. Our advertising partners then use that unique identifier to show ads that are more relevant to you across the web and in mobile apps. Some of the activities described in this section may constitute “targeted advertising,” “sharing,” or “selling” under certain laws. To learn more about the choices available to you with respect to these practices, see below.

You can also learn more about interest-based ads, or opt out of having your web browsing information used for behavioral advertising purposes by companies that participate in the Digital Advertising Alliance, by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices.
